A Little About Me

Everyone calls me The Old Lady in the Shoe because I have so many children. Our story begins in 1993 when we became foster parents. We adopted two girls and then gave birth to three more. We thought we were "done." Then in 2005 I got this crazy idea that we should have a son. We ended up adopting six more children for a total of eleven and we were "DONE." Then we met a sweet teenager and couldn't resist. We adopted her in 2015. In 2018 and 2020 we adopted two more children, family relatives, ending with 14 kids. Thus the name, "The Old Lady in the Shoe.

Everyone needs free and inexpensive items: games, educational websites, food, books, whatever. So I started this website to help parents and others find great deals on everything they need. Enjoy!
